WORKSHOP CONTENT
There is wide agreement that two of the most important things you can do to support and promote your own health are to give your body the nutrients it needs and to eliminate stress. We have created a workshop that will assist you in doing both. The day itself will be an experience of reducing stress and eating healthy food, AND you will learn tools you can take home to continue the nourishment on your own.
This will be a day of nourishing our bodies and souls. You have asked us for practical help with healthy eating and this workshop is the result of your requests. Rebecca Katz will do a cooking demonstration and we will eat a lunch made from the recipes in her new book, The Cancer-Fighting Kitchen. Her information is scientifically based, but she presents it in a way we can all understand with take-home skills for our kitchens.
When BK Bose led us in some Healing Yoga at our Sacramento conference in 2008, some participants said it was their first successful experience with Yoga. Many said they wanted an opportunity to practice with BK again and this workshop was born out of those requests.
