Cannabis and Cancer: Deciphering the Hype from the Science

Steve Ottersberg, MS in Bio-Organic Chemistry, has decades of experience in laboratory testing and management, drug design, cannabis science, and teaching in the medical field. In 2014 Steve founded Green Lab Solutions Company (GLSC), an audited and certified cannabis testing laboratory.

Together with his wife, Nasha Winters, ND, LAC, FABNO, he co-facilitated 12 medical cancer retreats. Steve is driven to change the way the world sees cannabis. He’s hoping to destigmatize the cannabis industry to allow more individuals to benefit from the use of CBD and cannabis for everything from anxiety and sleep, to depression and cancer.

He is a co-founder of Metabolic Terrain (https://mtomics.com/), whose application of the metabolic approach has successfully improved outcomes for thousands of cancer patients.

IN THIS PROGRAM: Steve will help us understand the language of Cannabis. What is the Cannabinoid system? Why does it matter? When do we need CBD and when do we need THC? Sativa or Indica? Do we need to know about terpenes? What helps with nausea? What helps with pain? Can Cannabis kick cancer? How do we know how much to take? Tincture, oil, gummies, edibles, smoking, or suppositories? Does it need to be organic? Do I need a prescription? How do I choose a dispensary? Come with your questions.
