Coloring Outside the Lines: Surviving and Thriving with Cancer for 30+ Years

IN THIS FREE WEBINAR:  Why did Jan write this book?

Does it have a message? Who was it written for?

What has Jan done to thrive WITH cancer all these years?

These are some of the questions Jan Adrian and Terri Tate will be talking about as Jan’s memoir gets launched out into the world. Terri was involved in planting the initial seed that has grown into Jan’s cancer memoir. Terri has written the forward to the book, and will be in conversation with Jan about writing, about managing cancer, and about the book.

Although Terri and Jan had different cancers and very different healing journeys, there are also striking similarities. They both needed to create their own recipes for healing, and they each had stories that needed to be told. They both believe that our bodies possess self-healing mechanisms and that something mystical beyond the medical world was at work in their survival. The final decision was never in their hands.

Jan Adrian is the founder and director of the non-profit, Healing Journeys. She created the Cancer as a Turning Point, From Surviving To Thriving™ conference which was produced 37 times over 25 years. Her focus in her work and in her 30+ years of living with cancer has been on healing the whole person instead of just curing the body.

Terri Tate
is an author, humorist, memoir writing mentor, therapist, and hypnotherapist. In Terri’s memoir, A Crooked Smile, she shares her experiences through cancer diagnosis, multiple surgeries, and the labyrinth of modern health care.
