Dear Friends,
Excitement is building for the Mexico retreats with Jonathan Ellerby, PhD. We've been finalizing the schedules and they are now posted on our website. Each of the two retreats is 6 days and 5 nights, with the option of staying extra days. We will be in session with Jonathan for a total of 10 hours (10 CE credits available). You can attend other optional wellness classes, local tours, or just enjoy the beach and the beauty of the Riviera Maya. You can be as active or as relaxed as you choose.
My week there last year was a Turning Point in my life. I set my intention there to experience more wild abandon in my life, and what fun it has been. I'm delighted to be going back, and excited to offer another opportunity for you to experience the depth of healing that is possible with a combination of Jonathan's teachings, and the beauty/energy of the Riviera Maya.
For those of you within commuting distance of Sacramento, save the dates for two events coming up in September and October. Totally Tapioca is doing a benefit concert on September 14 to help support the Cancer-Fighting Kitchen Workshop that will be offered October 4th. Because of their support, we can offer partial scholarships to the workshop (an application form is available on our website). Registration for the workshop is now open!

- Save the date – Totally Tapioca, a very talented five-part a cappella vocal group from Sacramento, performs an annual concert to support a local non-profit. Note: Mark Nepo is a poet and philosopher who has taught in the fields of poetry, health, and spirituality for forty years. A New York Times #1 bestselling author, he has published fourteen books and recorded eight audio projects. Mark has appeared with Oprah Winfrey on her Super Soul Sunday program, and has also been interviewed by Robin Roberts on Good Morning America.
In 1987, Mark was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. The heart of that journey and its aftermath have greatly informed his work.
